The main costume of the Kandyan dance tradition 💖

 


The costume set is known as the Kandyan lead actor costume.  Legend has it that during the sixty - fifth wedding ceremony of King Panduwasdev, the king of Malaya wore his sixty - four ornaments during the pacification ceremony. The costume, which is adorned with beautiful carvings made of silver, is also believed to be the costume of the Sun God King.  But a well-known and accepted opinion is that the Malay king's wardrobe 💖💖


 

  Today, the mask is the main costume used in Kohomba Kankariya.  In addition, the costumes are the mainstay of the Kandy Esala Perahera and Valiyak Festival.  It is accepted that a set of masks suitable for men only is suitable for women🤍 




  The mask can be divided into two main parts.  That is, as a head mask and jewelry under the neck. This outfit is the main costume of the Kandyan dance tradition and is very revered 💖💖

  My favorite artist is Sithum Sudhara. He was born on April 1, 1995 in matara. He was educated at Anura Central College yakkala. He has two sisters. He currently resides in Veyangoda with his mother, father and aunt. He spends his entire life with art of painting ❤ I really like his colore pencil drawings and it is his career.
